Course Description
You have dabbled in Excel. You have entered data in a worksheet, but do you really understand what is happening with the data? If you are struggling with the formatting of your worksheets and wondering how to create your own formulas and functions, you will benefit from the short 3-hour introduction to Excel. Participants that have taken this workshop appreciate knowing HOW Excel works so they can better utilize the features. This workshop offers Excel concepts necessary for data setup that allows efficient reporting.
Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to create and develop Excel worksheets, use and understand formula and function syntax and format and print an Excel report

Target Student:
This course is intended for students who have some or no experience using Excel and desire to understand the logic behind the workbook. Students who need to construct or edit Excel formulas and functions, format a workbook for reports and use Excel print features will benefit from this course.
Prerequisites:
To ensure success a basic knowledge of Windows concepts such as cut, copy and paste will suffice.
