Focus mode in Microsoft Teams minimizes distractions, expands shared content, and reduces notification interruptions during meetings, helping you stay focused. It is a relatively new feature designed to help you stay focused and avoid distractions during meetings.

Currently, Focus Mode is only available with an MS OFFICE PREMIUM subscription.
What it is?
- A tool to minimize distractions. During a meeting, use the Focus mode to hide the participant list, chat window, and other elements that can distract from the content.
- A tool to allow you to expand the shared content on your screen.
- A tool to allow you to suppress notifications
How it Works
On Desktop:
- Join a meeting where someone is sharing content.
- Click the three dots (…) in the meeting controls.
- Select “Focus mode.”
On Mobile:
- Join a meeting where someone is sharing content.
- Tap the three dots (…) in the meeting controls.
- Select “Focus mode.”
Note: Focus mode automatically ends when the content sharing stops or you leave the meeting.
